☞ The screenplay was published on the first anniversary of the January 2025 Southern California Wildfires. The conflagration began engulfing the environs of Los Angeles and Ventura Counties on January 7ᵗʰ, 2025. Before month’s end, the blaze consumed nearly 60,000 acres (90 square miles) of property, killing over 400 people, and displacing more than 200,000. Affected, alike, were the rich, the famous, and the nameless. Unscathed, the Getty Center which inspired the film is truly a disaster-proof museum.
