Poisoned Boys & Cures for Narcissism

Metallic little men flattered,
they would shrug, but silver tongues prevent them;
puppet-mouthed obscenities spare

More than three, less than ten of them—poisoned
coins, kissing off heads from them; their
alabaster skin utterly ruined.

Such dark little hearts unaware
a throng of moneychangers would open
puppet-mouthed obscenities there,

luring with flame each to their burning end.
A smoulder of black bones on bare
alabaster skin, utterly ruined.

Village iconoclasts all share
in destroying inconvenient art and
puppet-mouth obscenities fair

enough to pillow-touch soft faces when
of love children are wanting; where
alabaster skin utterly ruins,
puppet-mouthed obscenities blare.
